What can science tell us about money and happiness and how does it both aid and impair our ability to obtain happiness in this regard. I find this very fitting as my family and I currently wait in a state of limbo where we know money is coming in and it is going to make our lives easier when it arrives and the struggle to get by day to day until then. We went from a state of unexplainable stress to a position of a lot of stress knowing that the money was coming to an ever increasing level of stress as the days go by and the money has not yet arrived. While my life is better than I ever thought it would be the need for money to survive and the non-inflation, inflation places a great many challenges for a family of three where both parents are full time students and only one works part-time, that said aside from the money issue, my life is better than I ever dreamed. I find the portion of satisfaction in terms of spending money to be fairly accurate, while I find it difficult to find satisfaction in buying stuff for me be it a video game or movie. I love being able to spend some money on my daughter or wife and giving them something that I know that they would enjoy. So when I tend to have some extra money I will more often then not spend it on them. However, I do enjoy buying supplies whether it be art books, sci-fi magazines, cards or comic books that I use to create the art I do, this stimulates my creative side. What I find fascinating with this creation process, due to the fact that I am a visual learner I am able to remember where I have obtained almost all of my pictures from, if only you could learn psychology this way now that would be something.
